Due to overhead wire problems between Elsenham and Stansted Mountfitchet all lines are blocked.

Impact

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until further notice.

Customer advice

Unfortunately, this morning, there has been reports of overhead wire problems in the Elsenham area, towards Stansted Mountfichet.

As a result trains are unable to run until the overhead wire has been inspected and deemed safe for the passage of trains.

In reaction, Cambridge to Stansted Airport and Liverpool Street services will be disrupted.

Network Rail engineers have been mobilised and on route to the site.

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on the following routes:

London Underground services on all reasonable routes between Liverpool Street and Kings Cross.

Great Northern and Thameslink services between Kings Cross and Cambridge.
