A person has been hit by a train between Bury St Edmunds and Ely. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work all lines will be closed.

As a result, trains will be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Please be prepared for a delay to your journey. You may need to take a different train than originally planned.

You can travel between Ipswich and Ely, Cambridge and Peterborough via Norwich with Greater Anglia at no extra cost.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
