A tree blocking the railway between Ashford International and Rye means all lines are blocked. Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 22:30 .

Customer Advice

Southern services are currently unable to run between Ashford International and Rye. This is due to a report of a tree on the line in the Ham Street area.

Southern are working to fully assess the issue. There isn't an exact estimate for the delay to your journey at the moment, but we expect that if the report is confirmed, it will take at least 45 minutes longer than usual to get to your destination.

It may be difficult to arrange replacement transport before the line reopens, but if this is necessary, Southern will do what they can.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
