Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton all weekend, closing all lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

• Trains between Birmingham New Street and Leicester / Stansted Airport will start / terminate at Coleshill Parkway.
• Trains between Nottingham and Cardiff Central will operate between Nottingham and Coleshill Parkway (Saturday) / Derby (Sunday) and Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central.
• Trains to / from Scotland / North East will divert via an alternative route not calling at Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by one hour.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• Birmingham New Street and Nuneaton (calling at Water Orton and Coleshill Parkway)
• Burton-on-Trent and Tamworth 
• Birmingham New Street and Tamworth
