Engineering work is taking place between Daisy Hill and Wigan Wallgate, and between Bolton and Hindley, closing various lines.

Trains between Southport and Blackburn will be diverted between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria, and will not call at stations via Atherton.

Replacement buses will run between Wigan Wallgate and Bolton, and between Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria via Atherton.
