Engineering work is taking place between Wakefield Westgate and Wakefield Kirkgate, closing the line between the stations from 08:55 until 16:25.

During this time, trains between Leeds and Knottingley will divert via Castleford.

Wakefield Westgate, Wakefield Kirkgate, Streethouse, Featherstone and Pontefract Tanshelf will not be served. However, replacement buses will run between Leeds and Pontefract Monkhill to serve these stations.
