Engineering work is taking place between York and Northallerton, closing some lines from 22:30 on Saturday and all day on Sunday.
CrossCountry
Trains between Reading / Birmingham New Street and Newcastle will start from York.
Trains to / from Scotland will be amended, with southbound departures from Newcastle leaving a few minutes earlier than usual.Â
Grand Central
On Sunday, Grand Central will operate an amended timetable throughout the day.
Additionally, the 13:48 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will terminate at Hartlepool. A replacement bus will run between Hartlepool and Sunderland.
The 18:12 Sunderland to London Kings Cross service will start from Hartlepool. A replacement bus will run from Sunderland to Hartlepool.
LNER
LNER services will be reduced to 2 trains an hour and will take approximately 30 minutes longer between York and Darlington, other services will be cancelled.
TransPennine Express
From 22:30 on Saturday and all day on Sunday, all services north of York will run to an amended timetable.
Services to / from Redcar Central will terminate / start from Middlesbrough. Alternative train services are available between Middlesbrough and Redcar Central.
Northbound services will also not call Thirsk or Northallerton.
Southbound services will not call at Thirsk.
Replacement buses will run between York and Darlington, calling at Thirsk and Northallerton.
