Engineering work is taking place between Witham and Chelmsford, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​

Train services from Norwich, Ipswich, Clacton, Colchester and Braintree will terminate at Witham.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• Witham and Ingatestone (for customers travelling to / from London Liverpool Street)
• Witham and Chelmsford via Hatfield Peverel (for customers to / from Hatfield Peverel and Chelmsford)

Connecting train services will run between Chelmsford and London Liverpool Street via Ingateston. These will also serve Shenfield and Stratford.

If you are travelling between Norwich and London Liverpool Street and wish to avoid engineering works, a small number of extra trains will run between Norwich and Cambridge on Sunday (via the Thetford route). You should change at Cambridge for connections to / from London Liverpool Street. These services are expected to be busy.
