A tree blocking the railway at Thanet Parkway means trains between Canterbury West / Dover Priory and Ramsgate may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or revised.

What's happened?
A member of the public has made us aware of a tree blocking the railway at Thanet Parkway. The signaller has asked a train to inspect the line and the driver confirmed a tree has fallen and blocked the track from Thanet Parkway to Canterbury West / Dover Priory. How does this affect my journey?
Trains are currently unable to run from Ramsgate to Dover Priory and to Canterbury West.
Trains from Canterbury West and Dover to Ramsgate can still run, but may be delayed while passing the affected area. What should I do?
Please allow extra time to complete your journey and check before you travel.
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on services from Ramsgate and Canterbury East via Faversham (please note that the standard high-speed ticket restrictions apply).
You can also use your ticket on the following Stagecoach services:
- 43 between Sandwich and Dover Priory
- 8 between Ramsgate and Canterbury
- 81 between Sandwich and Dover
- 45 between Ramsgate and Sandwich
- 1X between Canterbury and Ashford
- 8X between Faversham and Canterbury
We are working to source alternative travel for stations between Thanet Parkway and Dover and Thanet Parkway to Ashford via Canterbury West.
