Engineering work is taking place at several locations between Manchester Piccadilly, Huddersfield and Leeds, closing some lines.

As a result, buses will replace trains between:

  • Manchester Airport and Leeds via Manchester Piccadilly, Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
  • Huddersfield and Leeds via Dewsbury.
  • Huddersfield and Leeds via all stations.

Additionally, the following amendments will apply:

  • The 08:39 York to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Leeds.
  • The 08:45 York to Scarborough service will be replaced by a bus throughout, calling at all booked stations.
  • The 09:21 Lees to Scarborough service will be replaced by a bus throughout, calling at all booked stations.

Trains will run between Liverpool Lime Street and Huddersfield via Manchester Victoria.

Bicycles:

Non folding bicycles are not allowed on rail replacement bus services at any time. Folding bicycles are allowed if fully folded. For more information, please see here.
