Urgent repairs to the track are taking place at Danby. As a result, all lines are blocked between Danby and Whitby.

Due to the nature of the repairs required, it is anticipated that the line will remain closed until the end of service, and may continue in to the weekend.

Alternative travel advice:
Replacement road transport is running between Danby and Whitby calling at all stations. There will be 16 seater vehicles operated by North East Exec, Traveltime and Tees Travel.

Customers are advised to use the help-points or speak to station staff for assistance.
