FULL STEAM AHEAD WITH FULL TIMETABLE

We are pleased to announce the introduction of our full timetable of three trains each way
between Sunderland-Hartlepool-Eaglescliffe-Northallerton-Thirsk-York & London Kings Cross from 1st March 2008.
PEAK SERVICE SUPPLEMENT
Please note that from 10th March 2008, journeys made Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays excepted) on the 0646 to London Kings cross (The Zephyr) and the 1650 from Kings Cross(The
21st Century Limited), will be subject to a single leg supplement.
This supplement only applies to customers making journeys to or from London Kings Cross using 'Grand Central Only'
tickets and will cost £25 First Class and £15 Standard Class per passenger (irrespective of any concessions).
Customers in possession of unrestricted 'Inter-available' tickets to or from London Kings Cross will not be charged a supplement to travel on these services. Supplements are available from booking offices
prior to travel or from the conductor on the train.

We have been experiencing some difficulties with our fleet reliability over recent weeks. This is in the main, due to a series of major component failures with the
power car fleet. We are working with those responsible and other repairers to get the necessary work done as soon as is practical in order to improve the current situation.
Therefore, we have had to take the decision to implement a contingency plan until further notice. Details of which are below.
