🏇 York Races - Ebor Festival

Our additional train service, The Ebor Flyer, will run from Sunderland to York (including Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton and Thirsk) at 8:09am on Saturday 26 August, arriving into York at 9:53am and giving race-goers a full day to enjoy York's famous Ebor Festival.

We strongly recommend that customers with Anytime tickets without seat reservations travel on this service, as all seating is unreserved in order to maximise availability.

Our 8:30am Sunderland - Kings Cross Service, calling at York, will be departing as normal with additional carriages. This will arrive into York for 10:12am before continuing on to London Kings Cross as normal.

Even though it's going to be a busy weekend, you can rest assured we'll still be working extra hard to make sure you have a great journey with Grand Central.

If you have any further questions about train services over the long weekend, please get in touch with us at 0345 603 4852.
