About the National Rail Passenger Survey
Twice a year, Transport Focus, the UK's primary passenger transport watchdog, conducts the National Rail Passenger Survey (NRPS), covering tens of thousands of rail users across every sector and part of Great Britain. Passengers are invited to rate every aspect of their journey, from the availability of toilets all the way through to their opinion of the train company itself.
These results are published on the Transport Focus website and are available for all to download and view.
As of the most recent survey (Spring 2020), Grand Central has been ranked as the train company with the highest customer satisfaction in Great Britain, with 95% of our passengers reporting positive experiences on board our trains.

| Advance tickets | Limited availablity and lower prices - tickets are purchased for specific seats on specific trains |
