The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Engineer Support Manager. The main responsibilities of the role include;

Managing the technical processes within the Fleet department and being responsible for the technical interface between Grand Central, its contracts and suppliers.

Other responsibilities include producing statistics and KPI’s on fleet and managing the processes for National incident reports.

The successful post holder will represent the company on any cross fleet initiatives or projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification in Engineering and have significant experience of making strategic technical decisions. A good understanding of a class 180 fleet is required as is the ability to review, analyse, and interrogate technical reports.  

The role will involve occasional travel within the UK and offers a competitive salary and free travel on Grand Central and other Arriva UK rail services.
