Because of Network Rail engineering work Grand Central West Riding services will operate to a revised timetable and services will not call at Pontefract Monkhill. Replacement road transport will operate between Pontefract Monkhill and Wakefield Kirkgate. Download the timetable here.

The 1127 service from Kings Cross to Sunderland is very busy, passengers with Grand Central tickets, but without seat reservations may prefer to travel on the 0818 service from Kings Cross to Sunderland which currently has plenty of seating available.
