At Grand Central, tickets are flexible, easy to buy, simple to understand and offer great value for money.  Our Fair Fares policy means you’ll never pay more than our usual flexible Off-Peak or Anytime rates – even if you buy on-board on the day of travel.

Cheap Advance Purchase tickets from £19*

Like many train companies, we now also offer our passengers cheaper tickets if they can plan and buy in advance.  Grand Central Advance Purchase fares are now available on all our services so that customers have an even bigger choice of great value tickets.

Customers can still buy on-board at our flexible usual walk-up price, so those who find it difficult or are unable to buy in advance are not penalised.  

How to buy your ticket

  Online Buy online before you travel - collect your ticket from a fast ticket machine at the station of your choice**, or have it sent in the post.

  By phone on 0844 811 0071.  Also, Print Your Own tickets are the newest way to buy and to print your own ticket.

  At the Travel Centre or Ticket Office at any railway station.

• 

  On-board Buy your ticket on-board the train without paying a premium.  See our ticket prices for more information.
