Throughout April 2012 and particularly at weekends, Network Rail is undertaking engineering work on various sections of the lines between the north of England and London. This means all trains running on the affected routes will be disrupted in some way. This might only involve slightly retimed services, but in some cases could involve Grand Central passengers changing trains at Peterborough or Doncaster, with longer than normal journey times. All the details, including amended timetables are available to view and download here. We urge those of you whoa re intending to travel during April to visit this page to check the details before you travel. This disruption will also affect passengers who use other rail companies including East Coast to travel to and from London during April.

Grand Central Anytime fares are valid on any Grand Central service, the only restriction is that they are not valid on any other operators' service. A full list of Grand Central Anytime Fares is shown below:
Grand Central 'Off Peak' Fares to / from London on North Eastern Route
Grand Central Off Peak fares are valid for journeys to London on all Grand Central services excluding journeys that make use of the 0645 service to London and the 1648 service departing from London Monday - Friday. A full list of these off-peak fares is shown below:
