Eaglescliffe is a gateway to Teesside, providing easy access to Middlesbrough, Yarm and Stockton. Within 15 minutes’ walk of the station is Preston Park, with an excellent museum charting the rise of Stockton as an industrial town. There is a bird house, children’s adventure playground and a miniature railway. There are some lovely walks down to the River Tees, and you can explore the track of the historic Stockton and Darlington Railway. Eaglescliffe Station
